Many people don't realize what a healthy hoof is; amazing enough, even people who have been around horses all their lives.  It's disturbing what the mainstream horse world thinks is "normal."  I find it interesting that I see horses with virtually no hoof care at all and their feet are better off mechanically than horses that have regular hoof care.  I have to agree with Pete Ramey who says, "Let's hope our hoof care is better than no hoof care at all!"  A trimmer should be absolutely sure that the horse doesn't need what they are taking off to move correctly and comfortably.

The educational material is out there, the science is out there, the proof is out there on what really works for the horse.  My hope is that all horse owners, farriers, and equine practitioners discover the natural trim!
